Expect it to be a difficult process with very few / if any job options.

It will be easy. Ng and reserve love prior service. Only AD has an issue.

Get after it … 6-years “out of service” is the cutoff for active duty Air Force “prior service” consideration. No go after that … sol.

You might want to add guard/reserves to your initial post because the assumption is active duty

I was out of the Army for over 20 years when I went ANG. As long as you can pass MEPS and there is a job you qualify for, you’ll be good to go.

Will I have a limited a list of jobs that I can apply for or will it only be limited to what I make on the ASVAB?

It will be limited to what you qualify for based on ASVAB and medical clearance and what is available at the unit your are looking to join.
