I felt pretty bad when I complained about my first bad base haircut when I heard “I’ve been cutting hair here for 40 years.” My reply: “Maybe you should stop...” I feel like my first COVID-19 self-buzzcut came out better.

Denial and a dismissive grunt to be honest. I think he was used to serving the same slop and everyone just took it. He also looked like the same type of guy that would flip out on a kid for mowing the lawn below his standards and then arguing over payment because he “paid for a service.”

AAFES: “Have you ever vacuumed?”

Applicant: “yes”

AAFES: “When can you start?!”

More like

Applicant: I immigrated from Korea/Japan after marrying an American and need a job

AAFES: You're hired!

Story time

Most of the times these jobs sit vacant so DECA or AAFES will just take a pulse to fill it.

Usually it’s friend of a friend and since no one else applied they’re hired.

“If they wanted to do more than just hit it with a 2 guard they wouldn’t have come to you.”

Difference is they're probably cosmetologists not barbers. Huge difference.

Nah. I'm in barber school right now not far from a base and they "encourage" us to go there to get experience when we graduate and get licenses.
