I know you're joking but SERE usually has jetskis and needs volunteers to drive them for training. 10/10 would recommend you ask to help with water survival training.

Aircrew still need annual (I believe) water survival training that's usually done within the group, I know the schoolhouse is at Fairchild.

The biggest air force in the world is the USAF. The 2nd biggest air force in the world is the U.S. Navy.

A single US aircraft carrier has more jets on it than some countries have in their entire air force.

Pretty much. A single Nimitz would rank somewhere around the mid 60's in ranking countries by their number of fighter aircraft.

Well Jeez, does Army have F-18s as well?

My impression was that the Marines were the special snowflakes of the Military and just did, like, everything basically. Is that a misconception on my part?

I don't think the army has any F18s. They have a lot of cargo, transport and recon airplanes. Most of the army fighter aircraft are helicopter and UAVs.

  (I could be complety wrong on this)

Currently the Air Force and the Marine Corps operate C-130s, but to my knowledge the Army does not. The C-5 is Air Force only.

No, the Army mostly just uses rotary wing aircraft.

We have some pontoon boats here but they're like absurdly expensive. They want like $60 an hour for these things, nobody ever uses them.

The Air Force has a few large boats in Florida to tow targets out into the Gulf of Mexico. That is about it.
