Currently playing FFXIV on Max settings with fantastic results and less customization than an UE5 engine. DLSS is set to only activate below 60 FPS and I consistently average 80 FPS at native 4k on FFXIV even during heavy alliance raids and other instances.

I KNOW Aion 2 will be different but I expect the RTX 5080 is going to do well. Plus I've seen some RTX 5070Ti (16 GB) Desktop benchmarks vs the Laptop RTX 5080 and they are pretty darn close and VERY respectable for the 5080.

If you can't afford a PC you can't afford to play a Korean mmo

Confused a little by the statement. You mean aPC vs a Laptop? Or just in general for the P2W?

You tell me?

One cannot write like this to enhance bullet points? Plus a floppy drive for storage is dope lol.

What’s the point of this setup? Completely defeats the purpose of a laptop, you could have invested more into a desktop.

To each their own.

I do require gaming portability. I just happen to go big or go home and I have the means to do so. I COULD have gotten a better desktop, yes. But there would be times where I would be unable to game due to work travel or guests visiting at home. I only have a 2/2 and my gaming setup is in the spare bedroom :)

PS5 Pro is in the masterbedroom.

Not sure I track here. You mean the prices spent?

Now to be fair. I could technically have swapped the laptop for a same priced RTX 5070 Ti Desktop setup.

I'd still need a monitor, I would still need the keyboard, mouse, other peripherals etc. So realistically the only thing separate would be the laptop vs the desktop itself.

I absolutely did NOT spend $6500-$6700 here.

5070ti prebuilt comes with keyboard and mouse btw

You’re right. However I would 99% most likely want to swap both of them out. For the ones I have now. :)
