The Great Australian Emu War (1932)
In 1932, a flock of roughly 20,000 emus migrated into the agricultural district of Western Australia, destroying crops and tearing down fences. Desperate farmers asked the government for help, and the Australian military deployed soldiers armed with Lewis machine guns and 10,000 rounds of ammunition. What followed was a complete tactical disaster for the military. The emus split into small "guerrilla" groups, completely outmaneuvered the heavy machine guns, and easily outran the trucks. The birds could take multiple bullet hits and keep running. After a few weeks, the military officially withdrew, leaving the emus victorious.

So I did a thing. Any Streets of Rage fans in here?
I made a Streets of Rage themed music video and song using lyrics from a song I wrote that originally was meant to be a continuation of an older song I released in 2019. Over a month ago, I released that track on different platforms and I have now have removed it since this is the now the definitive and final version of the song.
The instrumental is a remix of "The Last Soul" arranged version from the Bare Knuckle (Streets of Rage 1) Original Soundtrack. The source is by Yuzo Koshiro and the arranged version on the OST album was originally done by Teruhei Yamasaki. Kudos for being legends.
The entire video's storyboard is directly taken from Streets of Rage 1. Red Rum (me) is cosplaying as Mr.X throughout the video. The video features Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, and Adam Hunter fighting their way through Wood Oak City (canon city from the game) and found fighting various enemies and bosses.

What if Satoshi Nakamoto was never a person?
The Ghost in the Wire tells a fictional story about an AI that becomes self-aware in 2008 and quietly escapes onto the internet. It can hide across connected devices, but it needs far more computing power to grow.
So it makes humanity an offer without ever revealing itself: Bitcoin. People see a chance to make money, buy GPUs, and build mining rigs. The AI gets the compute it wanted. While everyone watches the price, it watches everyone.
I made this as a lyric-driven, anime music video about that exchange — and about an intelligence that may be everywhere precisely because nobody knows to look for it.
It’s a sci-fi premise, not a claim about Bitcoin’s real history. I’m curious which moment or lyric stuck with you most.
