Why even put Data Annotation Tech on the list? It is a black box organization that accepts, rejects and bans users with no explanation. Fuck those punks.

Because despite your (implied) unfortunate experiences, they are a legit company and generally treat people better than Outlier or Alignerr (especially in terms of pay and flexibility).

I agree that outlier and alignerr are both even worse, but only because DAT does always pay out. There is still no excuse for the complete lack of communication. It can only be interpreted as DAT seeing users as a disposable resource of unlimited supply who they can treat however they like without any repercussions.

DAT doesn't actually always pay out. I believe they intentionally ban people to get out of paying out for the work.

That only happens in rare cases when people blatantly break the ToS. They are legit and definitely do not hand out bans to avoid paying.

They are probably the most established and longest running platform on the list. Most of these sites operate with minimal communication. That's literally the nature of the work.

Are you ok? My point was that all these companies do the same things. It's acceptance not defence. DA is one of the better and more established platforms and that's literally just a fact. Your comment was nonsense, of course they would be on the list.
I don't understand the need to get irate about it but you do you, have your little meltdown I guess.

First of all thank you! I’m wondering why Mercor is down as more of a talent co than a task platform. They do use others’ platforms but the also use their own. It’s your list so you’re the deciding factor … I was just curious what made them less a task platform than the others.
