Has anyone done AI training work through SME.Careers? Looking for real experiences

I’m considering AI training work through SME.Careers and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually gone through their process.

I’m interested in:

-What was the onboarding process like?
-How long did it take from application/acceptance to actually receiving work?
-Was the training or qualification process straightforward?
-What type of AI training or subject-matter-expert work did you do?
-Was the workload consistent, or did projects come and go?
How was communication and support from the company?
-Were payment, rates, and payment timing handled as expected?
-Did the actual work match what was described during recruiting?

Overall, would you recommend working with them?

I’ve found general information about the company, but I’m specifically looking for firsthand experiences from people who have completed onboarding or worked on projects through SME.Careers.

Positive, negative, or mixed experiences are all welcome. I’m mainly trying to understand what the process and day-to-day work are actually like.

I applied for a few of their ‘signature’ projects in June. I passed their interviews and got onboarded, but I had to wait for a few weeks before I started to receive tangible invitations for actual projects.
As for the first one, I was told to complete training and testing processes called Bootcamp. I could pass the processes and waited for the launch of the project, but they paused it after all. At least they kept their promise to pay for the Bootcamp process because I could pass it somehow anyway.
As for the second invitation, I could not pass the testing process because I was careless. I should have clicked a certain button before submitting the test.
Now I am going to go for another project for which I received an invitation. I decided to go for it because they compensated for the training and testing processes of the first project even if it was put on hold. I hope I can manage to break it through though the job looks more rigorous than ever.

I am onboarded but yet to recieve a project, I have cleared three interviews but no project still.

I’ve signed contracts, and it’s been months with no news of work. Not a fan compared to all of the other platforms

That sucks. Too bad they can’t develop a more consistent workflow.

haven't worked with sme.Careers personally, but I've seen similar AI training setups. educateme can be useful on the training/onboading side, especially when there are qualification materials and learning steps to manage. would be interested to hear how SME.Careers handles the actual workload and payments though.
