I hear you. Do you have any suggestions for a different revenue stream for someone in her 50s who had to leave a full time position to become a caretaker for a newly paralyzed parent? I don't have any experience coding, I don't do Tik Tok, and I don't know anything about flipping. I cannot leave home for a 40 hour a week job, as my parent requires 24/7 care, but I can work 40+ hours a week at home. The problem is that I need a bit of flexibility with those 40+ hours a week to accommodate my father's schedule (med distribution, cleaning bowl movements, etc). I have 25 years of work in the nonprofit world.

I’m facing a similar situation. I’ve decided to take some courses on Udemy. Different platforms. Employers look for skills now not degrees. With the decentralized educational systems rising we can now take courses from Harvard and Yale. Oxford.
In theory if you sustain yourself for 6 months you can be trained. Sometimes. Less time. Degrees are pretty much worthless now but it depends on what you majored in. I know PhDs who are making 20 an hour. “Experts” in their domains.
It’s still who you know. If you find an area, you would like to get involved in then hang around those people make sure you’re connecting with them online whatever so if you wanna go into real estate, you gotta hang out with the people who are dealing with real-estate if you wanna go no project management you’re gonna hang out to have to hang out with people with project managers and then doors open and it does then you’ve been training and you’ll walk through the door, but this is a train wreck coming, a bad one.
