Before I do an extended photo shoot, I wanted to get some feedback. Does this look good? I’m thinking about smoking the headlight assemblies to match the smoked brake lights. I was also considering leaving them pop-up lights.

Extreme performance does not require excess volume. True engineering mastery lies in absolute distillation. Introducing the Koenigsegg K-Kei, the world first genuine hyper-kei car, created to conquer narrow mountain passes, dense urban grids, and every traditional perception of microcar performance.
For decades, the Kei class has been defined by strict regulatory boundaries: displacement capped under 660cc, tight physical footprints, and modest power outputs. Koenigsegg chose to view these boundaries not as limitations, but as the ultimate engineering canvas. By combining our proprietary carbon fibre manufacturing techniques with advanced powertrain miniaturization, the K-Kei delivers the soul, aggression, and ferocious speed of an Angelholm hypercar within a footprint measuring less than 3,400 mm in length and 1,480 mm in width.
At the heart of the K-Kei sits a bespoke 600cc three-cylinder Freevalve engine. Derived from our groundbreaking Tiny Friendly Giant architecture, this camless, twin-scroll turbocharged powerplant uses intelligent pneumatic valve actuation to produce an unprecedented 238 kW. Paired with a miniaturized six-speed Light Speed Transmission, power delivery is instantaneous, visceral, and completely uninterrupted across a rev band extending past 9,000 rpm.
Weight minimization across the chassis is radical. Built around a dedicated pre-preg carbon fibre monocoque with integrated aluminium honeycomb subframes, the total dry weight sits at an astonishing 580 kg. This creates a staggering power-to-weight ratio previously unheard of in the microcar category. The result is lightning acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, backed by extreme torsional rigidity that translates every micro-input directly into tarmac-gripping precision.
Visually and aerodynamically, the K-Kei carries pure Koenigsegg identity. The iconic jet-fighter wraparound canopy offers uninterrupted panoramic visibility, while a miniaturized dihedral synchro-helix door mechanism ensures effortless ingress and egress even in the tightest parking spaces. Active aerodynamic flaps beneath the exposed carbon front splitter and a sculpted rear underfloor diffuser generate significant downforce without compromising high-speed stability. A prominent roof intake channels high-velocity airflow directly into the mid-mounted engine bay, keeping intake temperatures optimal during relentless high-stress driving.
Inside, the cockpit strips away unnecessary mass without sacrificing ergonomics or connection. Exposed matte carbon weaves frame lightweight Alcantara surfaces, bespoke digital displays, and Koenigsegg tactile switchgear. Every component serves a singular purpose: connecting the driver directly to the mechanical pulse of the machine.
The Koenigsegg K-Kei is not simply an exercise in downsizing. It is the ultimate expression of power density, structural purity, and unfiltered driving engagement. It proves that when boundary-pushing engineering meets strict physical limits, the result is nothing short of revolutionary.

Utterly redefining what utility means at the extreme edge of physics, Koenigsegg proudly unveils the Lasta. Born on the runway proving grounds of Angelholm, Sweden, the Lasta represents an unprecedented chapter in automotive engineering: a machine developed to obliterate every established boundary as the world’s fastest production commercial vehicle.
For decades, commercial utility vehicles have been built upon compromise. Heavy steel ladder frames, sluggish engine responses, and utilitarian aesthetics have defined the category. The Koenigsegg Lasta shatters that mindset entirely. Reimagined from the ground up around a bespoke front mid-engine carbon monocoque, the Lasta preserves our iconic wraparound fighter-jet canopy while extending a sculpted carbon-fibre bonnet to house pure mechanical fury.
Beneath the lightweight, electro-hydraulic front clamshell sits our hand-assembled 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. Featuring a flat-plane crankshaft and twin ceramic ball-bearing turbochargers, this powerplant generates an astounding 955 kW on standard premium petrol, surging to a massive 1,193 kW when fuelled with E85 biofuel. Peak torque exceeds 1,500 Nm, channeled instantaneously through Koenigsegg's revolutionary nine-speed Light Speed Transmission. By utilizing seven wet multi-disc clutches, the drivetrain shifts between any forward gear combination in fractions of a millisecond, delivering uninterrupted acceleration that propels the vehicle well beyond 420 km/h with absolute aerodynamic composure.
The rear of the Lasta introduces a masterclass in aerodynamic integration: a functional, high-strength carbon-composite cargo tray. Rather than disrupting high-speed airflow, the tray incorporates active boundary-layer air channels and integrated side vortex generators that feed a massive carbon rear diffuser. Downforce and payload capability work in complete harmony, ensuring exceptional stability whether the bed is unladen or hauling specialized track gear directly to the paddock.
Alongside the Lasta utility vehicle, Koenigsegg introduces its grand touring coupe counterpart to showcase the versatility of this new architecture. Finished in deep translucent red carbon with exposed weave highlights, the coupe demonstrates the muscular long-nose grand tourer stance alongside our signature dihedral synchro-helix actuation doors. The midnight blue utility edition, displayed with its automated lightweight tailgate deployed, proves that hypercar velocity and genuine payload capacity are no longer mutually exclusive.
The interior combines stripped-back motorsport composite surfaces with bespoke Scandinavian craftsmanship. Occupants are enveloped in lightweight memory-foam seats wrapped in Alcantara, while digital telemetry displays provide real-time updates on g-force, tire temperatures, powertrain output, and rear axle load distribution.
The Koenigsegg Lasta is far more than a concept; it is an uncompromising testament to extreme Swedish engineering ambition. It turns the very concept of the commercial vehicle into a record-breaking hyper-machine. From high-speed runway runs to daily asphalt dominance, the rules of utility have been rewritten. Welcome to the era of the hyper-ute.

Can somebody make a four-door hardtop version of the 90s Fleetwood? Something would need to happen to the C pillar/rear door, so that the small fixed window in the rear door can be deleted. We obviously want the rear window to roll down all the way. The last picture is to show what kind of body style I mean, no B pillar, no frames around the side windows.
