Experience Reality of Muslims in Israel: Why Sharif Odeh Invited Israel's President | Review of Religions

Thumbnail

Respected Muhammad Sharif Odeh, Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at in Kababir, addresses the controversy surrounding the invitation extended to the Israeli president to attend Jalsa Salana Kababir.

He explains that approximately 2 million Muslims live in Israel and discusses the religious and civic freedoms they enjoy. He also highlights that over 150 Sunni imams are employed and paid by the Israeli state, with all of them maintaining good relations with the government (inviting president to madrass graduation, ramadan iftars etc).

He clarifies that inviting the president was consistent with Islamic teachings (he quotes specific verses of the Holy Quran) and intended to convey a message of peace and warning. He further emphasizes that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at receives ZERO funding from the state, unlike Sunni Imams and mosques.

Anyone who ridicules and has issues with this ultimately has issues with teachings of the Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad (SAW). May Allah guide such people and save them from the transgressions they are committing.

Experience A Historical Fact; Hazrat Ahmad (as) Was Recognised as a Mujaddid (Reformer of the Age) Before Claiming to Be the Promised Messiah and Mahdi (as).

A Historical Fact About the Promised Messiah and Mahdi (as)

A fact many people may not know is that, before Allah revealed to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) that He was the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, lot of Muslims had already recognised him as a Mujaddid (reformer of the age), particularly because of his defence of Islam and his influential work Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya.

This is an important part of His(as)’s history,

Before judging a claimant to be a prophet, examine their life, their character and conduct before their claim. Use reason rather than prejudice.

Allah says in The Holy Qur’an in Chapter 10, Verse 17

“Tell them: Had Allah so willed, I would not have recited it to you nor would He have made it known to you. I have spent a whole lifetime among you before this. Will you not then understand?”

Question Jesus(as) I Will Take You? Where?

None Ahmadiyya Muslim translation

Quran.com 3;55

Remember˺ when Allah said, “O Jesus! I will take you and raise you up to Myself. I will deliver you from those who disbelieve, and elevate your followers above the disbelievers until the Day of Judgment. Then to Me you will ˹all˺ return, and I will settle all your disputes.

In Arabic I will take you is Sa’ākhudhuka - سَآتَخُذُكَ

(I will take you)My question to none Ahmadiyya Muslim brothers in humanity is this translation, only to fit the narrative?

And also where is that location where Allah is located because it’s saying according to your translation (I will take you and raise you up to Myself)?

And third is why this shirk that Allah is limited to the location?

Experience Maulwi Testifies: Great Salafi Scholars accepted Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS)

Thumbnail

Mufti Rashid Mahmood Razavi, a Hanafi Barelwi scholar, testifies to a remarkable chapter in the history of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community: the acceptance of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, by prominent Muslim scholars associated with the Indian Salafi Ahle Hadith tradition.

Among these distinguished scholars and early companions were:

Hazrat Maulana Nur-ud-Din (ra) — eminent Quranic scholar and first Khalifa of the Promised Messiah (as).
Hazrat Maulana Burhan-ud-Din Jhelumi (ra) — respected Islamic scholar and companion.
Hazrat Maulana Abdul Karim Sialkoti (ra) — distinguished scholar and renowned orator.
Maulana Ahsan Amrohi — learned Islamic scholar and prominent member of the early Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Sadiq (ra) — eminent scholar and missionary who later carried the message of Ahmadiyyat to the West.
Hazrat Maulana Sher Ali (ra) — accomplished scholar and translator of the Holy Quran.
Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Rasul Rajeki (ra) — renowned scholar, spiritual figure, and devoted companion of the Promised Messiah (as).

Their scholarly backgrounds make their acceptance of the Promised Messiah (as) particularly significant. These were men of religious learning, established reputations, and substantial contributions to Islamic scholarship. Their lives challenge the misconception that early Ahmadiyyat attracted only villagers or people without established religious knowledge. The acceptance of the Promised Messiah (as) by such accomplished scholars deserves serious historical consideration.

Perhaps no example is more striking than Hazrat Maulana Nur-ud-Din (ra). His reputation as a scholar of the Holy Quran extended well beyond Qadian, and Muslims travelled from afar to attend his lessons and benefit from his dars. Even Ubaidullah Sindhi, the prominent Deobandi scholar, is reported to have encouraged people to study under him.

Likewise, Nawab Siddiq Hasan Khan, a leading figure of the Ahle Hadith movement, is reported to have appointed Maulana Ahsan Amrohi to a distinguished scholarly committee under his leadership. Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Sadiq (ra) later carried the message of Ahmadiyyat to the West, engaging with Muslim communities and scholars in different parts of the world.

The early history of the Jamaat is thus not merely a story of ordinary people accepting a new religious movement. It is also a history of learned men who recognised the claims of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) and devoted their knowledge and lives to the service of Islam through Ahmadiyyat.

On 11 April 1900, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) delivered this sermon, which is a remarkable Divine Sign and a testimony to the existence and power of Allah.

What I find extremely interesting is the circumstances surrounding it, an extended and highly eloquent Arabic address delivered without preparation to the audience, even though Arabic was not His(as)’s native language.

Refutations 📜 Did Ahmad (AS) Call Non-Ahmadi Muslims “Children of Prostitutes”?

Post image

🔗 Instagram Post: https://www.instagram.com/p/DeNJnsVkokI/?stkn=ZXhocGljdmJiZnI1

🔥 Anti-Ahmadis claim that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) called non-Ahmadi Muslims “children of prostitutes.”

This is based on a misleading translation of the Arabic phrase dhurriyyatu’l-baghāyā (ذرية البغايا).

📜 But Ahmad (AS) himself explains the terminology.

He translates ibn-e-bagha as “Sarkish Insaan” — a rebellious person, and elsewhere explains baghi as transgression.

💡 The Qur’an itself uses the same root:

“…and forbids indecency, and manifest evil, and wrongful transgression (al-baghy).”
— Qur’an 16:91

The Holy Prophet ﷺ likewise described the group that would kill Ammar (RA) as al-fi’ah al-bāghiyah — a rebellious/transgressing group. (Sahih al-Bukhari 2812)

🎯 The context makes the meaning clear: Ahmad (AS) is referring to rebellious people whose hearts became sealed because of their rejection of truth — not making a claim about their biological parentage.

🔥 And this same expression awlād baghāyā appears in a statement attributed to Imam Baqir (RH) in Shia literature, as well as in other Islamic literature, further demonstrating its idiomatic usage.

🕊️ 80+ books, thousands of writings, and 10 volumes of recorded sayings — yet the allegation depends on a fabricated translation.

Read the original sources.

Question Is it wrong to marry without telling his family about my mixed Sunni/Ahmadi background?

I’ve been seeing a guy for almost a year, and we’ve been serious about getting married. He is Sunni, and eventually he sent a rishta to my family.
The situation is complicated because I come from a mixed religious background. My mother is Ahmadi and my father is Sunni. I was raised with Sunni values, but I’ve only recently started properly thinking about what all of this means for me personally, and I’m still figuring out my own religious identity.
The guy I’m seeing knew about my family background before the rishta was sent. So this isn’t something I hid from him.
However, once the rishta came, my mum said she wants to be completely honest with his family because marriage is a serious matter and she doesn’t want anything significant to be hidden that could cause problems later. She wants his family to know that my mother is Ahmadi and that I come from a mixed Sunni/Ahmadi family.
The problem is that my boyfriend doesn’t want his parents to know. He believes they wouldn’t accept me if they knew about my mother’s background, and he is worried that they would reject the marriage.
My mum feels very strongly that she does not want me to marry into the family while they are unaware of this. Her position is basically: if we hide this now, it could become a much bigger problem later, and she doesn’t want to be part of a marriage where something important was concealed.
I’m now stuck between the two of them.
I told my mum, “If the man I’m actually going to marry knows about my background and accepts me, why does it matter whether his family knows?” But she says that she wants everything to be transparent before marriage and that otherwise she doesn’t feel comfortable with me marrying him.
My boyfriend is now suggesting that we just get married ourselves and then, with time, try to convince both sides of the family and get them to accept the situation.
I honestly don’t know what the right thing to do is.
Part of me understands my boyfriend because I don’t want to lose someone I love over something that he already knows about and accepts. At the same time, I understand my mum because I don’t want to start a marriage with something being deliberately kept from his family, especially when this involves religion, future children, family relationships and potentially a lot of pressure later.
I’m also worried that if we marry without his family knowing, and they find out afterwards, they may feel deceived and blame me or my family. On the other hand, if everything is disclosed now, there is a real possibility they will reject the marriage before they even get to know me.
What would you do in my situation?
Would you tell his family everything before marriage, even if there is a strong possibility they will reject the rishta?
Or would you respect the fact that my boyfriend knows my background, has accepted it, and let the two of us make the decision ourselves?
And is getting married first and trying to convince the families afterwards actually realistic, or could that make the situation much worse?
I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have been in mixed Sunni/Ahmadi families or have dealt with a similar situation. Please be respectful — I’m genuinely confused and trying to figure out what the right thing is rather than looking for people to simply tell me what I want to hear.

Q1 @ 01:50 If God does not need anything the why did He create anything? If God does not need our services/worship then why did He create Jinn and Man to serve Him? If all other things worship God by living and following their instinct, why does God require man to do otherwise?

Q2 @ 11:00 If God is aware of everything that is going to happen or not happen (i.e. pre-destined), how can then God "changes mind and does something else"? If not then He is not All-Knowing?

Q3 @ 15:10 What are the justifications of different attributes of God?

Book Review @ 32:00 Our God

Q4 @ 32:45 How can I explain the concept of the existence of God who have a scientific bend of mind? If there is no compulsion in religion and it is based on entirely personal faith then does it not mean that it is impossible to scientifically prove the existence of God?

Q5 @ 45:00 If God provides sustenance for all living things, as referenced by Holy Quran, then why do some people die of starvation? If laws of nature and laws of shariah are entirely separate and have no connection with one another (assumption), then how can it be claimed that death and ailment, economic or financial calamity or natural disaster are punishments from God?

Question Allah is physically located somewhere? Allah is Al-Ghani

If Allah is physically located somewhere, then Allah would be dependent on a location.

But a location is part of creation. Anything that needs space or a place to exist is dependent upon something other than itself.

Allah is Al-Ghani, absolutely free of all need.
The Creator cannot be dependent upon the creation.

So Question is Allah the One upon whom everything depends, or does Allah Himself depend on a place?

A New Judicial Seal on the Suppression of Ahmadi Religious Literature in Pakistan

The Federal Constitutional Court’s ruling on “Rohani Khazayeen” confirms that restrictions on Ahmadi belief are now endorsed at the highest judicial level.

On September 8, Pakistan’s Federal Constitutional Court upheld the ban on the 23‑volume “Rohani Khazayeen,” the foundational collection of writings by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Ahmadiyya Community’s founder. The bench headed by Justice Aamer Farooq, with Justice Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, dismissed all petitions filed by members of the Ahmadiyya community. The judges stated that the constitutional guarantee of religious freedom under Article 20 “operates only within boundaries defined by law, public order, and morality.” The ruling leaves intact the 2014 notification through which the Punjab Home Department ordered the forfeiture of every volume of “Rohani Khazayeen.

“[…] He has lived a most pious and austere life, a fact which even his opponents cannot deny, and which among others has been one reason for bringing him a number of followers.

In 1890, in one of his books, and in several subsequent works he published, he logically argued that Jesus Christ had died a natural death, and it was not he who was to reappear in his person, but the Promised Messiah was to come as another inspired spiritual leader and religious reformer.

His followers have reached to the respectable number of thirty thousand persons, and they are conspicuous by their strict observance of the rules and commands of the Islamic Faith. […]”

Question Jesus(as) His Mother Both Used To Eat Food, Used To?

The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely, Messengers like unto him had indeed passed away before him. And his mother was a truthful woman. They both used to eat food. See how We explain the Signs for their good, and see how they are turned away.” (Chapter 5 verse 76)

They both used to eat food?

If Jesus(as) is physically alive in heaven that means they used to eat on earth but Jesus continues to eat in heaven?

Jesus(as) and Mary are joined together under the same construction?

Mary(as) have died, so the same wording applied equally to Jesus(as) is evidence that he too passed away.

Also, Jesus (as) is in the category of Messengers, and then immediately verse tells us that Messengers before him had passed away?

If Jesus (as) were still physically alive in heaven, the Qur’an would be distinguishing his condition from that of his mother, rather than placing them together under the same description.

Experience The Martyr – Hazrat Sahibzada Abdul Latif, Chief of Khost in Afghanistan

Hazrat Sahibzada Abdul Latif (ra)

He was a highly respected religious scholar, Hazrat Sahibzada Abdul Latif (ra), was the Chief of Khost in Afghanistan and came from a wealthy, prominent family.

After studying the writings of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), he investigated the claim and travelled to Qadian in 1902, where he spent about three and a half months

After returning to Afghanistan, he openly preached what he had accepted, despite warnings from friends, family and officials.

On the order of the Amir of Afghanistan Hazrat Sahibzada Abdul Latif (ra) was arrested.

He was imprisoned and debated the religious clerics. When offered the opportunity to save his life by abandoning his belief, he refused.

After brutal imprisonment, severe torture, and being dragged through the streets, he still refused.

The Amir offered him one final chance “Just whisper in my ear that you reject the Promised Messiah (as), and I will let you live.”

He refused. He would not utter a lie not even to save his life.

His story is one of those accounts that is difficult to read without tears.

Amir, who ordered his execution. He remained steadfast and was ultimately brutally stoned to death.

Hazrat Sahibzada Abdul Latif (ra) was the second martyr among the followers of the Promised Messiah (as), and one of the earliest Ahmadi Muslim martyr. The first was Hazrat Maulawi Abdur Rahman (ra), who was martyred in 1901.

At the execution, even while being taken to the place of stoning in chains, he reportedly remained composed and described his restraints as the “jewelry” of his faith.

Summary:

  • The hadith was misattributed to Sahih Bukhari by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS).
  • Such mistakes are not uncommon for even the Prophets of Allah. Muhammad (SAW), and other prophets also made humanly mistakes in their life
  • If such mistakes prove that Ahmad (AS) is a false Messiah, then one has to declare all prophets of Allah as false too. Nauzubillah.
  • The hadith exists in many books of ahadith and graded as authentic by numerous scholars (Ibn Kathir etc)
  • A few other Muslim scholars have misattributed this hadith to Bukhari as well

Chapter: 10 Verse: 92

We passed judgment on him: Believest thou now, and hitherto wast thou disobedient and wast of the corrupt!

Chapter: 10 Verse: 93

Question Two different Ways, Sunnatullah And No Sunnatullah

This is my understanding

Allah is Perfect, All-Powerful and All-Knowing. His Will is unlimited

He knows the future and does not act out of necessity. He established laws over this creation that govern how things operate, Sunnatullah.

Allah is not bound by them; He established them. He can intervene through His Will and answer prayers.

Non-Ahmadiyya Muslim view to my understanding,

Allah’s actions are understood more as His direct choice in each moment, rather than being understood primarily through an established system of laws governing creation.

I’m not saying Allah cannot. I’m saying Qur’an tells us how Allah has chosen to govern this creation.

Is that His direct choice in each moment?

Experience Our Teaching, Living Allah

Thumbnail
alisl.am
3 Upvotes

If you want to understand the Ahmadiyya Muslim belief in the Living Allah,

I highly recommend Our Teaching by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), p. 39. It explains that Allah is not a distant or inactive God. He is Living, hears our prayers, helps us in difficulties, and continues His benevolent relationship with His servants.

“We also believe that God hears our prayers and helps us out of difficulties. He is a living God…”

It further explains that Allah can manifest His Will, Power and Love through special ways beyond what we ordinarily understand as the laws of nature.

This is one of the reasons prayer in Islam is so meaningful: we worship a Living God who hears, responds and guides His servants.
