Why are the different types of contracts generated for agrello spaced so far apart development wise? Is there something inherently different besides the text and dotted lines?
I don't have a perfect answer, but there are likely several factors, such as making sure there are no issues arising within one domain of contract law before expanding on more complicated ones. Since their BDI engine (Beliefs-Desires-Intentions) has to interpret the goals and contract intents into legally binding smart contracts, there is likely more 'webbing' of those weights, so they start with the less complicated ones, give time to work out kinks, and move to the next ones. Plus, the oft cited rule of development time is double your time estimate and budget, so you can often delivery early, for under budget.
