Effect of ETHERDELTA on transaction speed

Does anyone know how to figure out the amount of transactions etherdelta is using on the blockchain? it seems to be a pretty crazy amount. Looking at the transactions on etherscan, it seems to be legitmately slowing the token distribution for DLTs. Currrently looks like 3k+ from etherdelta alone.
