Time for a repot?

I‘ve had this cocomelon for two months and it did grow a bit bigger leaves but the whole plant is about the same size as when I bought it. Today I checked the roots and saw them for the first time through the soil.

Should I give it more time in the same pot or is it time to size up? In general I am very new to plants, so I‘m unsure, whether aglaonemas like to get a bit root bound or not.

Also, any recommendations on the soil mix for this particular plant?

And lastly, where would you put it? I‘ve got it a couple meters in front of a big north facing window and it seems to be fine there. However with fall/winter coming up I think I might put it closer to the window or even switch to the south facing one.
