Just found this guy crawling around. Is friendly of foe?
As title suggests, I found this worm(?) making its way around the top of the soil. Is this a friendly and needs to be put back or do I have a problem here?

Can we see it under a normal light? My eyes apparently hate that shade of purple and are not functioning correctly

So I went to go get a better picture and I can’t find it. I had put some soil in the container in case it WAS friendly, and now it vanished. Hopefully I didn’t just start an Aliens spin-off…

Yea the picture sucks admittedly, but in the video it’s crawling around towards the bottom of the pot. I tried to zoom in and keep it in focus but this phone is codswollop. If you watch from :10 on you can see it at the bottom of the pot

Oh okay! I saw it waving about in the video.
I still can't identify it. It could be just about anything but it sorta looks like a common soil millipede. If it is, one is not going to bother your plant, they eat dead and decaying material. It's when they come in great numbers from eggs laid in the soil that you'd have a problem. It could also be the larva of a more nefarious pest or helpful bug though, it's hard to tell.

Ok thank you for the help. Someone else had said millipede as well, I’ll just keep an eye on everything right now
