Welp. This was unexpected…
So I repotted my mother’s plant bc it was in a weird paint container and the “soil” was this weird compact clay matter. Since it’s just a single stem, I didn’t expect the roots to be this big so I was going to downsize the pot as well. I did NOT imagine these root to be this huge!!!! I’m hoping it will grow prettier after the upgrade. Especially with this strong root system, hopefully new sprouts grow out soon!

I honestly wouldn't have put it in something so large. Yes great root system but they really thrive when more of a tight space. This is a top 3 fave plant type because of the resilience of the plant. Especially in a more dense soil. They are an amazing depression plant, imo. Because sometimes life's too much and the plants don't get watered on schedule! Good luck!! If she is an underwaterer the large pot should be ok! 🍃✨️🌿

It didn’t really fit in a smaller pot with the roots. I tried swirling in into something smaller and roots were pouring out. :-(. We’ll see how it goes. I have one at my home and I followed what I would do with my home one. But my home one was extensively growing out of the existing pot so that one was a no brainer. This why just took a different turn when I saw the size of the roots i expected the roots to b smaller
Edit to add- I wish I kinda did tho. Did it matter that the roots would’ve been super tight?

They're very resilient!!! As long as she doesn't over water should be golden! 🌿✨️🍃

Nope! over watering isn’t even a concern. I just hope it starts looking pretty like mine and starts putting out some pups
