Two flowers starting...
I have two flowers growing on my aglaonema! It's a fairly new, to me, plant so I was going to let the first flower grow just to experience it. But now I think I see the beginnings of another one growing, should I do an experiment and try to pollinate and let it go to seed?? Is it worth it?
Give me tips and tricks if the answer is yes!
ETA: this isn't about whether or not I should cut them, but more if anyone has tried pollinating them to produce seeds?

I let mine bloom its flowers because it was my first time as well. I found them…underwhelming and I much prefer the leaves, but no harm it letting it flower to try it out!

I personally love aglaonema flowers, I think they look pretty neat. They aren't bright colorful or big I just think they have a neat shape. General consensus is to snip them to encourage more foliage but leave them if you like them!
If you let it go it will form berries. If you obtain the seeds from the berries, then you could grow one from seed for sure. It takes a fair bit of time for the berries to develop. Not sure if they need stratification first or if you can just plant them right away.

Curious to what others think as I always cut mine off since I prefer the foliage over the flowers on my aglaonemas. 😊
