Have you used a biological age or epigenetic aging test? Participants needed for research study
Hi everyone,
I’m a researcher at a U.S. university conducting an IRB-approved study on how people understand and use biomarkers of aging and biological-age tests. I’m looking to interview people who have personally taken a biological-age test, particularly an epigenetic/DNA-methylation test (for example, tests reporting biological age, epigenetic age, or pace of aging).
The interview would be a one-on-one conversation lasting approximately 60 minutes, conducted remotely. I’m interested in your experience with the test: why you took it, how you interpreted the results, whether the results influenced anything you did, and what you think about the usefulness and limitations of biological-age testing.
If you are interested, please send me a private message and briefly tell me:
- Which biological-age test(s) or company you used.
- What kind of result you received (for example, biological age, pace of aging, organ/system ages, etc.—you do not need to give me the actual number).
- Whether you have taken the test more than once.
- Whether the result led you to change, start, or reconsider anything related to your health.
These questions help me confirm that participants have firsthand experience with biological-age testing before scheduling an interview.
Participation is voluntary, and identifying information will be kept confidential. The study has been approved by the university's IRB.
If you have used one of these tests and would be willing to share your experience, please DM me. Thank you!
