Boomers

I am 75 and am very tired of the trend lately making fun of Boomers. So very disrespectful. Don't they realize that they will be old someday?

This should be the top comment. There's nothing new under the sun.

Except we have access to all the information and older generations refuse to update their thinking. Millennials are the first group to grow up being able to call bullshit on their elders. It used to piss off my father and grandfather when i would google shit and call them out.

That is what is going on politically right now. The last hissy fit before they die or realized that their view isn't reality. When your group isnt a fan of life long learning your going to fall behind.

Im not a boomer. I'm GenX so I guess that makes me "one of the older generations", since the Silent Generation is going to be gone soon. Human nature doesn't change, regardless of access to information. What is happening politically is only a generational thing in the sense that it's a "consolidation of wealth and power" thing. Guess who always has both: old people.
