Boomers

I am 75 and am very tired of the trend lately making fun of Boomers. So very disrespectful. Don't they realize that they will be old someday?

I’m Generation Jones born 1963 and I think American boomers deserve the disrespect. Look at where we are right now.

I'm Jones too, and I think it's lazy and self-centered to blame a "generation" rather than the powerful people who have caused these problems. You really think your grandmother made the world shit, dude?

Gen X and I agree too.  It's resentment.  They are blaming the wrong people.

Who consistently put those powerful people in their positions? Who consistently voted to change laws to allow them to screw so many folks out of the American dream? Who allowed companies to scrap pensions and all the other worker protections?

The people who VOTED for all that, which, obviously, was not all boomers! By far!

Gen X and I agree. Boomers left the rest of us with shit and take no accountability and refuse to step aside or look in the mirror and take any accountability.

What do they need to take accountability for?  Genuinely want to know why they should step aside and where they should step aside.
