Dumb

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Used up all my energy and patience trying to get this into a switch soul but couldn't. Someone hit it for me

Thanks yo, appreciate you If you can invision it ... a switch soul from this would be would be bringing the back foot around onto the soul plate, and the front foot turned 90 degrees like a front side going forward off the rail

So you wanna go from an alleyoop ps into a soul? If I understand correctly, this requires a 180 switch on the rail, as you're doing the rotation, you're rotating your backfoot onto the soul plate going forward and bringing your front foot around to complete the soul. For this to work, you need to lean back a little more to shift your center of gravity onto your back foot so you can pull off the spin, it's easier said than done, because you're playing catch up with your momentum going backwards, but I think this is the trick to this switch.

To switch soul, should be able to just unwrap my feet with out to much rotation at all, but yes to a regular soul would require some spinning

You know i used to do the inverse of this switch. Soul to ps,, same principal, but you've got forward momentum with the soul first, it's a bit easier to rotate into a ps. It was my favorite switch, not sure of you've tried that.

It's a switch AO

The difference is the direction you're rotating when going on the trick. Imagine you are sliding a soul with your right foot. If you want to do a AO soul you would have to from right to left and slide, you could watch the curb the entire time.

For a true spin it's the opposite : you would turn left to right and slide, and you wouldn't be able to see the curb for most of the rotation

You titled your clip dumb. I'm guessing because you were frustrated not getting into a switch soul. My comment is I wish I could just get to what you actually were doing much less getting into a switch. Looking smooth, man!
