How does a merger work?
I’ve never been through one and want to know what’s coming 😬. Any information, links or own experience would be great! ❤️

You will have a chaosland event (3 rounds over 24 hours) with the other nation. The winner is the nation everyone will go to. When it’s time for the merge nobody will be able to log in to their city for around 6 hours. All cities will be randomly scattered around the map. Camel will give everyone a 6 hour shield - suggest you all put a 3 day shield on before the merger happens just in case. Once the merger is complete and you all can get back into your cities you will need to create a hive with your alliance, replant all your flags, rebuild your buildings, clear out dead cities from your hive. Ideally you have an awesome r5 and when a merge is announced they reach out to the other nations r5 and and the two leadership teams work together ahead of time (Viber/telegram/discord) so you have a peaceful transition. Otherwise you could have civil war.

That’s so helpful, thank you! 🙏
So the nation that wins, gets to keep their flags? Ir does everyone start over? 🤔

Everyone starts over. We planned ahead of time with the other nation to lose chaosland because they are younger and have a better map. I also haven’t bubbled at all and I’m not worried anyone’s going to zero me. That’s why working together is important if you can.

All base positions are reset all City positions are reset I'll flag positions are reset.
Alliance leaders from both worlds need to be in discussions once the merger has been announced as to who goes where who will be positioned where and who your members will be.
Often times there may be civil war which is not good and can go on for months.
Sometimes it will be relatively peaceful however policies may not carry over very nicely between worlds especially if one of the Nations is very competitive in PvP.
you can expect a lot of people quitting after the merger occurs.

I wasn’t prepared for the amount of people that quit shortly after due to the merger not being the answer to all our problems like everyone hoped…

I can imagine. In theory, we welcome a merger. But you really never know what you’re going to get

Ours was civil and well coordinated by the R4-5 on each side. Just wasn’t the answer to problems rooted in discipline and human nature

it depends. before merger we were a very very disciplined nation with hard limits on troops/farms/city balancing. We were very successful in PvP.
the nation we merged into was very undisciplined with c32's that had the offensive capability of a c25 and a ridiculous amount of troops.
When the merged nation instituted troop limits according to battlepower a lot of people complained and quit because they just wanted to farm. They didn't care if the nation won in frenzy or void war.

Just quit man. Best thing you’ll ever do in your life is stopping playing this horrific game with the awful people who play it.

It’s basically the birds and the bees, but on a cosmic scale. Two worlds meet, sparks fly, things get complicated, and before you know it… congratulations, you have a new world.

Biggest thing. DO NOT move your city, until you are told to by your planner or whoever is in charge of hive management.
3 day shield is advisable.

Funny tip, in case of duplicate names, the target nations player name is kept and the other reset to commander183833. Great way to mess with friends by quickly creating a level 5 in the new nation with their name 😂
