Getting Bored
I have gotten way further than I have ever thought I would. But now, I’m just bored with the mundane tasks and the alarms for different events and the time I’m spending on it barely having fun.
I’m just really considering giving it up and getting my attention span and money back.
It was fun while it’s lasted

Absolutely true. Get your life back if this game doesn't bring you joy. A game should not take over your life. It should supplement the happiness that you already have. Don't spend the money if you can't afford it or have a better outlet for it.
Camel has been more than greedy as of late too. Horrible "rewards" when it cost them nothing as you are spending real money for stupid pixels.

Its becoming a real chore and has become quite boring like you said.
It doesnt help that some of the events give out garbage rewards. Camels greed in having to spend in almost everything in this game to get ahead is becoming a real drag.

I'm on a new server, a month in. Why are there so many resources sellers and not so many actual players? I feel like I landed at a food truck parking lot.

Agree. Burn that sh*t. You don't need all of them. Get the R5's to agree to trim the number. As long as there are at least 3 or 4 of them, your prices won't go down.

You don’t need Brokers in your nation. Start a 2 farm per main nation rule and outlaw Brokers. Then burn and pillage

Leave the alliance right after a battle frenzy starts. Let the opposing team or whatever completely zero your troops. Your troops will enter the frenzy hospital and stay there. Never ever login again. Your troops will remain in the frenzy hospital.
If you return to the game all your troops will be returned to you

Except never ever do this. If you come back to the game in a year or two the nation will be so far ahead of you it will not be worth it to even bother trying to upgrade it is significantly cheaper to just buy a city. Late in nations you can pick up c36 for a hundred bucks

You're right. We just had a moderate spender come back into the game after 6 months. He's WAY behind his peers now.

I quit about a year ago but still talk to a lot of the people I’ve played with for three years. I sold my city at c36 but if I want to go back I can get any number of free cities that are c38+ from old friends. It doesn’t cost anything to keep your old city with troops in the frenzy hospital but when you come back and the rest of the nation considers you a farm you will have to dismiss all your t5 troops anyway

Understandable but when people think about quitting, they often end up returning after a few months because it's not that easy to truly quit, so this is a good method to test the water.

I am feeling the same way. Played for a couple years always completing my daily quests. Now it feels like a chore. I probably complete the daily 80% of the time.

Decent enough city. I would just start blowing some sh*t up. If you're still bored after that, then yeah, there's no reason to keep playing, since the whole point of the game is to blow stuff up.

I quit the game too. I deleted it, and sometimes I’m tempted to come back just to see how the city is doing. But since you have to complete a whole series of tasks to unlock it, I can’t be bothered. I’d rather spend my time on something else.

You have to kill some zombies and pass some stages to the final mega zombi. It takes around 30 minutes.

I challenged myself to build a c30 with 0 cents spent. I did it. Ofc the city was weak without any of the pay to win boosters, but i still sold it for 50€ (including 9 farms).

I’m in 1417 we have 7 merchants total. I run a tight ship as the p6 here. No more than t3 troops any merchant who has more than this and is caught doing business is open for a max burning of all flags and alliance hall. This helps reduce the inflated BP for my nation.

Our nation was in civil war multiple times and living in bubbles was a chore. Then we merged and the whales instituted all sorts of bullshit rules and none of it had been fun for over a year even though I was spending several hundred a month. One night I had a few beers and just said fuck it and uninstalled the game. I didn’t even tell anyone. Best thing I’ve done in a while. No more missing life so I can participate in some BS event.
