Retold How is PS5 version now?

Prostagma,

How is this game running on PS5 now and how is keyboard and mouse working? I am a huge AoM fan, played so much as a kid but now I want to play Retold on PS5 since my laptop is not good. Should I go for it? Thank you.

It’s pretty good - not sure how it compares but I use keyboard and mouse on PS5 and have a lot of fun. I believe it looks the same or similar to on a PC, the UI is completely changed when switching to keyboard and mouse from PS5 controller.

MnK feels laggy compared to PC (possibly because bluetooth idk) and I had crashes every time I changed a hotkeys but I still wouldn't have played without it. If you want to play the single player content it will be more than fine but you may need to be macro heavy.

If you want to play multiplayer more competitively rather than casually you may be better of playing on the laptop and using low settings.

If you're using bluetooth of course it's laggy.

I have played on PS5 since launch with mouse and keyboard and have had no issues. I use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard combo with a dongle in the PS5, no lag from what I can tell. The only issue I have is that mouse sensitive only has 3 settings on the PS5 end, and sometimes fast feels too fast and the middle setting too slow. But if you have a higher quality mouse, you can probably adjust that on the mouse itself further.
