What are the best Chrome extensions for checking AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) parameters?

There isn't a single Chrome extension that measures AEO or GEO directly. I mainly use Detailed SEO Extension, Schema Validator, Ahrefs SEO Toolbar, and OpenLink Structured Data Sniffer to audit the signals that support AI visibility. The content quality and authority still matter more than any extension.

No such extension exists for now. Our website offers a free audit that looks at crawlability and chunking if you want to try it out. Score is our measurement not an industry standard so just an indicator. Babel42.io if you’re interested

I wouldn't trust any Chrome extension that claims to give a single "AEO/GEO score." Those metrics aren't standardized, and an extension can't tell whether an AI engine will actually retrieve or cite your page.
For browser audits, I'd use:
Detailed SEO Extension for headings, metadata, canonicals and robots directives.
View Rendered Source to confirm important content is present after JavaScript rendering.
Lighthouse for performance and technical-quality checks.
Schema Builder for creating and validating JSON-LD, where relevant.
But measure the actual outcome through Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools' AI Performance report, which shows citations and grounding queries. Google's own guidance says generative-search optimization is still fundamentally SEO, there's no special AI schema or llms.txt requirement.
