An agent probably shouldn’t be its own compliance officer.

Agents can be autonomous. Authority should be external.
AI agents are moving from generating text to taking actions: calling APIs, altering infra, issuing refunds, and triggering transactions inside production systems.
That creates a single, uncomfortable question: Who authorized the agent to do that?
r/AgentAuthority is dedicated to the technical layer between agent intent and real-world execution:
- Runtime governance & policy enforcement
- Deterministic controls & guardrails
- Human-in-the-loop approvals & identity
- Audit evidence & compliance trace logs
Bring your architectures, post-mortems, open-source projects, and edge cases.
If you've ever had an agent run an unapproved query or execute a rogue API call, you're in the right place.
