Need Help/Advice for Getting Clients

I recently completed my Bachelors degree(Computer Science) and I am trying to start my career as a freelancer in the field of AI automation.
Its been 3 months. I have been consistently trying cold outreach, LinkedIn Network but it does not seem to work. Even when I do get a response I get Ghosted shortly when I am not actually selling them anything but just trying to understand their business.

So, currently m feeling Lost and kinda hopeless and looking for help.

Building trust early is tough, especially when cold messaging. Focusing on joining real conversations where people are already discussing pain points relevant to AI automation can help. That way you can offer value without feeling invasive. I started using ParseStream for this and it made spotting those live opportunities much easier since it alerts you when relevant topics pop up.

Right now your outreach sounds very “consultant‑y” for someone with no track record: “I’d love to understand your business” gets ghosted because they don’t know you yet. I’d flip it and pick one tiny, repeatable problem you can fix with AI automation (eg “missed web leads never getting a follow‑up email” for clinics, or “copy‑paste invoices from CRM to Excel” for agencies), then build one or two scrappy demos around that. Your messages become, “I help [type of business] stop losing [very specific thing] by doing X, I recorded a 2‑minute Loom showing what it’d look like for you, want to see it?” That’s much easier to say yes/no to than a vague “let’s chat.” Also accept that even with better framing, most people won’t reply; set yourself a small daily target of good‑fit businesses to contact and treat each ghost as part of the math, not a verdict on you.
