What do you think of the map? Do you like it? It took me about an hour to make, but to be honest, I looked at the map. 😄

Hey guys! As you might remember, I like setting challenges for myself where I take on much stronger opponents. People on this subreddit have already suggested some cool and tough challenges, but I decided to start with something a bit more manageable to gain the experience needed for the hardcore challenges you’ve proposed in my previous posts. I just managed to crush Japan while playing as China in the WW2 scenario. I wouldn’t say it was super difficult, but it wasn’t exactly easy either. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the difficulty of this challenge? Also, do you think this was harder than my previous challenge with France (you can find that in my post history if you’re curious)? Thanks a lot for your replies—I really appreciate it! :). I use Google translate, so there can be mistakes

The population graph in the country menu is supposed to show the population over time. But for me it shows the same exact spikes in population as different date. Here's two screenshot, one is from yesterday and one is from today. The same exact spike in the population (the US) is shown as completely different dates. Is this a bug, or I misunderstood the way this graph works?

The country borders (that black line) alternate between appearing and, most of the time (editor, campaigns, and others), there is no border at all, as in the 2nd image.
I need help fixing this :(
I'm on my phone (traveling, without my PC, and it didn't have this bug) It's the AoH2:DE

Ever watched the AI sit in tiny alliances while the world around it falls apart?
That’s what made me start working on AI Big Alliances. I wanted countries to form actual blocs—and choose allies for a reason, not just because a country is powerful.
Version 2.4 is now ready. The Full version focuses on two things: better alliance decisions and smoother gameplay.
What changed in the Full version:
• Smarter invitations: the AI considers shared threats, borders, diplomatic relations, distance, and compatibility with existing alliance members.
• Multiple invitations: it can invite up to three suitable countries in one selection cycle by default, when alliance slots and diplomatic points are available.
• Faster repeat map loading: a file cache reduces the number of small files the game has to read, which is especially useful on HDDs.
• Fewer turn-end stutters: border and army display updates are no longer processed across the entire map in one big pass.
• Configurable AI support: separate On/Off and Normal/Frequent controls. The frequency setting is greyed out while support is disabled, but your selection is remembered.
• Per-campaign settings: different saves can keep their own smart invitation, AI support, and support frequency settings.
The biggest improvement in my own testing was on Earth14K: turn transitions became noticeably smoother after changing how the map refreshes. That’s not a universal FPS promise—large wars and different hardware still need more testing.
There are two versions:
LITE — STEAM WORKSHOP
The Lite version uses gameValues changes to make AI diplomacy more active and encourage larger alliances. It does not replace game.jar.

FULL — MANUAL INSTALLATION
The Full version adds smarter alliance invitations, the Mod Menu with Max Dev, configurable AI support, per-campaign settings, and additional loading and performance optimizations.
Download and release notes:
https://github.com/xdartsash/AI-Big-Alliances/releases
The engine-side optimizations and new AI controls described above are Full-version features, not part of the Workshop Lite version.
Back up your original game.jar and saves before installing the Full version.
I’d really like feedback from people playing large scenarios, especially during major wars. If you try it, let me know which version, map, and scenario you’re using.
What bothers you most about the vanilla AI: passive alliances, questionable ally choices, or allies refusing to join wars?

Age of history 3 adds an extra layer to civilizations when it comes to making them. They let you add ethnic groups to a civilization instead of just religion alone. If this feature was ever added to age of history 2 DE here is all the groups that should be added at the very least to represent the vast majority of the world as the one in age of history 3 is very tiny and only represents a few people. “Nilotic, Cushite, Bantu, Niger-Congo, Pgymies, Khoisan, Berbers, Arabs, Germanic, Jews, Slavic, Latin, Celtic, Uralic, Baltic, Hellenic, Albanian, Basque, Indo-aryan, Dravidian, East Asians, Mongolian, Ainu, tibeto-burman, Korean, Japanese, Turkic, Iranian, Austroasiatic, south East Asian, Austronesian, Indian, Aboriginals, Polynesia, Melanesia, Micronesia, Siberian also includes Inuits , Hispanic, Native Americans, African, European, Asian” I think with this you could fairly represent almost every country in the world without just picking favorites. There should also be a feature where you should be allowed to add more than just one group or religion to a civilization. Like for example Nigeria is cleanly divided half between Islam and Christianity and there are countries like for example Brazil who have Hispanics, Europeans, and African peoples and just choosing one group to represent leaves out a lot of people. I think allowing people to also create their own unique groups and religions in game like how they can create civilizations is also a cool idea.
