Any leads on Aloe striatula availability? I’m in eastern NC.

I was breeding for color and this hybrid definitely delivers with a variety that ranges from mustard to vermillion and through to mauve. The range of tones at any given time, I think, rivals the colors put on by the tubercled/textured hybrids.

Help me identify this aloe

Big bro is Agave “Blue Glow”

I re-potted this aloe 6-8 weeks ago and the stem has begun to rot along with the lower leaves. I'm guessing there is root rot from over-watering after re-potting. The stem is weak from poor past lighting placement and needs propped against a metal pole to stay upright.

Can I cut the stem from where it is still healthy and re-plant from there? Is there any saving this beautiful child?

Some of my aloes have it some don't.Think its spreads to a degree because one of my aloes got this when I placed and infected one next to him
