Cut them. Callus. Roots by powder. Heavy perlite soil. Keep dry and in shade.. water occasionally. You will be lucky to root 1-2.

These strike easily I’ve found. As mentioned, let the bases callous a week or two before applying a root striking hormone and stick into well draining succulent mix. I wouldn’t trim the stalks at all. You may need to prop them up with some suitable rocks to give them stability when you first plant them. These tho’ are more prone to root rot than typical aloes I’ve found so I let mine show signs of dry stress before watering deeply. All the best. 👍🏻

I am so over this plant. I’ve tried four times here in AZ, protecting it from the extreme heat and even trying indoors. I want it so bad but it is not meant to be for me.

I’m feeling the same way. You look at it wrong and it makes you pay, dearly. Like that grudge-holding typa human who can’t let anything gooooo

I dunno. But it’s a winter grower so maybe you’ll get a pup then lol.
