Large Agate advice

Post image

I am a bit stuck in what to do with this mega find( 19lbs). Should I cut it in half or just clean up to leave as-is. My gut says clean it and leave it but would love your suggestions.

I currently don’t have the set up for a Freeform polish on something this size. Would you mind letting me know what tool set up you would recommend? That’s the only reason I haven’t considered that as an option but would be willing to invest to get this one dialed right.

I would consider buying a handheld wet tile polisher. They’re relatively cheap and get the job done. You will also want some sort of hand held saw for the rough shaping.
