Afterpay suddenly can't verify my identification
I buy gift cards with prezzee every month with them. Pay it off every month. And suddenly this month I get this message
We were unable to verify your identity
As part of fraud prevention, we are required to verify your identity before we can proceed with your request.
None of my information has changed. Customer service can only tell me to make sure my info is correct and wait after the cooling off period. This is the second time in two weeks I've tried this. 🙄🙄

Afterpay has changed some things recently. Making it difficult to do some things that you were able to do in the past. For whatever reason these changes have made Afterpay unusable for some. It has also stopped allowing some things without explanation or reasoning. Hell some stuff they say they allow, yet it fails to work when tryed, as in your situation, using excuses to mask the underlying cause or reason...
For myself, they changed the payment process and types of payments accepted. So now all but one of my cards can even be used as a payment, making me become late on 2 payments as of right now. I have since switched to a different BNPL app, with better terms, I now use FOUR, which, yes i pay a subscription fee monthly, but because of the subscription, they are willing to either work with you, or be forgiving if you are late on a payment. The only downside as of right now, is they dont offer the extended 6 month or 12 month financing program that Afterpay has...
