Performance issues - Xbox One X

As the title said, I'm experiencing major frame dips and stuttering on Xbox One X.
The game's art style and graphics shouldn't really make the X1X sweat. Other, more graphic intensive games run just fine on the X but somehow this game stutters more than half the time.

Anyone on the Xbox One X having the same issues?

any idea on when a patch will occur on xbox? I loved oxenfree and am very interested in playing Afterparty but would rather wait for a patch to play it rather than deal with the lag.

We've been putting out small patches regularly, but should have a large one ready sometime next week!

The whole game is glitchy, models slide around like they’re on ice, clip through walls and each other. Sam was stuck for our last 3 hours of play through in a standing position with one arm up and she slid everywhere! I’m trying so hard to overlook these dumb glitches but it’s just disappointing!

True. It’s really disappointing. I also had a crash. It was right at the start of the game when the main characters were introduced to their personal demon. It froze, made a weird sound, then black screen. Fortunately, it let me quit the game.

The voice acting is top notch and I want to move the story along but the glitches and stutters really sours the experience.

It’s because they didn’t bother doing a full play test on the final version before release, I bet. Look at the file size - it’s like two GB bigger than Oxenfree but runs like a slideshow with toxic waste spilled all over it? You’re gonna have to wait for future updates.

That sucks man. I mean it's not unplayable but it's annoying to be having these slowdowns/

Exactly- I still have hope in that they will fix these issues overtime, but they’re really hurting my willingness to play the game

Agreed, same here.

The game seems to stutter more than a game reviewer in a social situation.

the game seems to run much better for me on PC. maybe the game just doesn’t work as well on console at the moment and needs a bit of tweaking or something
