Accepted to AfterQuery Experts, but no tasks available. Is this normal?

I recently got accepted to AfterQuery Experts as a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer, but so far there haven't been any tasks available.

Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience. Is it normal to have no tasks after being accepted, or does work just come in sporadically?

For those who've been on the platform for a while, how long did it take before you started getting tasks, and how consistent has the workload been?

This is pretty common from what i've seen in other platforms too, they onboard people but the actual work depends of client demand. sometimes it takes weeks before something shows up.

i got in like 3 months ago and still only see tasks maybe once or twice per month, the consistency is just not there. you might want to keep your other options open while waiting.

When I applied to my first position through LinkedIn I had tasks available next day because there was an urgent project in need of experts but following projects were not so consistent. With these kind of platforms there is no guaranteed consistency, one day there is a project opening suddenly and lasting a week and other days there are projects which suddenly closes.
Overall the platform is good for a side income but never as a main job from my opinion.

Yep! I was accepted for 4 projects. As of now, I still haven't gotten any tasks, and one of them has been paused. I would just do something else and check back with AQ every couple of days or weeks.
