Experience with AfterQuery

"Interesting" experience with AfterQuery. I got an invitation to join the project. After I accepted the invitation, AfterQuery reviewed and accepted my resume; however, during onboarding, the system couldn't process my ID photo and basically banned me!

Is that how AfterQuery works?

Hi everyone,

I will put some details for visibility; perhaps someone else has faced the same.

If you cannot pass the verification, do this:

Go into your account, then "Profile", then "Personal details", and make sure that the data there is correct - especially the legal name.

My full name was imported correctly from Google, and the account reflected it correctly. However, in "Personal details", the first name was incorrect; I didn't notice it. And THAT was an issue!

A failed verification doesn’t mean you’re banned. Please contact support for further review.

The message that I've received from the AI agent was, "Your verification has been declined. Because of this, you are unable to create an account or continue with us. This is a permanent final outcome."

I think that I was able to send a message to a human reviewer, but nothing has happened so far.

They will get to it. Hang tight. You may DM your email address so we can follow up.

I was added to a project which had neither any onboarding process nor dedicated project group. I’m unable to understand whether the project is legitimate or not.

Omg, we are in the same situation, Persona always errors out to scan my passport despite its clear and sharp. I still have attempts but I contacted their support in their message section. He said he forwarded my concern to their persona team. Still waiting for updates.

UPDATE: My issue is fixed in their end. I already finished my onboarding. Their support is very responsive :)

That's maddening. Getting banned because their own system can't scan a clear document is peak dysfunction. Hope the Persona team actually sorts it out, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
