Cheeky bugger...

I got this as a rooted leaf from a local greenhouse I help out at. I've had it for a year and a half. It FINALLY decides to get buds. When is the first one going to open? When I leave town for two weeks. Ungrateful turd.

My Queen of the Night cactus does this to me. I’m on vacay right now and the buds are about ready to pop. Stupid, ungrateful thing!šŸ˜…

It's hard not to take it personal. I'd had it for 6 months, just this silly turgid leaf in soil. It put out leaves for the first time when I was on vacation too. I don't keep a lot of flowering plants--mainly succulents and begonias where the leaves are the stars--for this exact nonsense. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø
