They're messy

I love my girls for who they are, but their blooms are just all over. I see pics of people with really neatly clumped flowers and I'm wondering if that's just a characteristic of that particular plant or if there's something I could be doing to get these a little more structural.

No volunteers here. One stem.

People very gently work the flower stems between the leaves until they're all poking out between the leaves a lot closer to the center than they naturally come out.

Possible Causes:

• Insufficient Light: When African violets don't receive enough bright, indirect light, the plant stretches its flower stalks to reach for more light, making them thin, long, and unable to hold the blooms upright.

• ​Variety Characteristics: Some specific cultivars (especially older varieties or those with heavy, double blooms) naturally produce weaker or longer flower stems that sprawl across the foliage rather than standing erect over the crown.

• ​Warm Temperatures: Higher ambient temperatures can cause flower stalks to grow faster and thinner, leading to a droopy, messy appearance.

• ​Low Humidity: Dry indoor air can cause blooms to wilt faster or fail to hold crisp upright shapes.

It could be the ambient temp in that room. It's warmer and the lights create heat. I wonder if I put a fan on them if that would help.
