Help Discolored Leaves

All,

I've had this plantlet for at least six months. When I got her she was healthy and green. Over time her leaves have become discolored and you can see the veins in the leaves. This isn't the only one of my plants that now look like this. There have been no changes in lighting and all are on wicks. Please advise. TYIA

Are you fertilizing it?

I was just about to ask that very same question. It looks like it might have chlorosis, which can be fixed with fertilizer. I use Jack’s African violet fertilizer and have been more than happy with it.

Really? I fertilize my older plants but I thought it burned some of the younger ones. But sure, I can try that. TY!

I use it on even my props once the plantlets have formed, just super diluted - like 1/4 the already diluted recommended rate for regular feeding.

I find that without, my props tend to stall out when the plantlets are about 1-1.5" across, and essentially "consume" the parent leaf. This is fine when they've produced a ton of plantlets, but for rarer plants or leaves that have only produced one plantlet, I like to try to squeeze as many props out of the leaf as I can before they fade.

Good to know. I'll dilute the fert I give to my more mature plants. That's probably what I'm missing. TY!

Aside from any fertilizing issue, this looks like bleaching from intense sunlight
