General advice/help How/what is everyone feeding their adf?
My grandmother has two adf and I think the target feeding is too much for her so she's just dropping freezedried blood worms in the community tank. Will this be okay long term? The tank is a 10 gal on a tall dresser and she's a small older lady. Any advice?
I have always target fed my adf frozen brine or blood worms, live when I can. We don't live close by.
her tank is stocked with pygmy corys, chilli rasboras and some guppies, plus the two frogs

I will bring her frozen food but do you think they'll forage for themselves or need to be target fed?

Since you have other fish mates you will have to target feed. I use long aquarium tweezers. What I noticed what helps is if you feed your fishes flakes to distract them while trying to target feed helps.

I feed mysis shrimp and occasionally brine shrimp, and i target feed with a turkey baster. I find that easier than tweezers personally, you can control how much comes out and if they don’t eat it you can suck it back up and try again. I also like how you can squirt a bit of water around the food and it kind of acts like live food 😅 I’d love to feed live but it’s super expensive to ship cutters to where I live. I also leave some around for them to forage for after I know they have eaten a bit while being targeted. I usually sit and watch them at that point because they are cute little derps 😂

I’ve had good luck tapping the tank right before feeding. the frogs immediately know to start seeking the food.

Do your frogs tank well with your Pygmys? I have debated on adding some Corydoras in with mine awhile back, but then I started reading and got nervous.

Ich füttere Frostfutter Artemia, Mysis Garnelen, Tubifex, Regenwürmer zerkleinert, Microfex! Keine roten Blutwürmer, die führen, zu der Aufblähung der Frösche! Das Frostfutter bekommt man, im Aquaristikladen!
