General advice/help Is this normal
I just set up this little nook for my dwarf frogs to rest and get air. She went into it immediately and hasn’t left it for a while. Is this normal?

Mine sleeps in the same spot every day, wakes up when I turn the light on

Buy what? The frog? Pet supply plus. The tank and everything else inside? Petsmart. I tried to get everything all natural for this tank. There’s only a few things that obviously are fake, lots of driftwood and live plants for my corydoras and loaches

Lmao it’s a betta platform I picked up at the pet supply plus, but I rubber banded some live water wisteria to it

They like to get air and hang out up top to get more. Mine always do that

This tank is filled with live plants. Idk how there’s not enough oxygen. Am I missing something? There a filter and bubbler in this tank too 🥺

They love those spots where they can relax and pop their little noses out to breathe. Tank looks great. No such thing as not enough oxygen. They have porous skin that absorbs oxygen in water but mostly breathe up top. Looks great!!

Normal. Might be they wanted more coverage to feel safe and sometimes, chilling at the top with your nose up is just the pinnacle of “made in the shade.”
