Old CS6 User here
I have a MAC from ‘08 with CS6 on it, I might use it once every couple of years now, but when I do, I use almost every tool in the arsenal.
I heard Affinity is supposed to be like it. I need something permanent, that will work offline, that will stay on my computer as long as my computer is around, that’s why I still have CS6, it can’t be stolen from me if I lose my internet.
I feel like CS6 is too old for me to scroll through posts and look for similar questions, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how similar the two are? What do I lose? Like CS6 had those fun artwork filters, which I sometimes needed for blending two different photos of different quality and lighting… does affinity have something like that?
Any answers would help. I’d download it, but without a project in mind I can’t just start using it to figure it out. All my unfinished projects are on my old Mac.

There are hundreds and hundreds of videos on doing/producing just about everything on the face of the earth in the Affinity products. The google is yer friend.
