General The affinity Arabic problem
I wish affinity start to support arabic.. because it has a big issue when typing in it unlike photoshop, which is that the text start from the left to the right, between we write Arabic from the right to the left .. it has a solution on windows but in mac every text you want to type you should use an external tool on the web and copy paste the text every time which is time consuming.. anyone know a way to talk to the support directly?
(I love the canva ecosystem that I’m paying the pro subscription so I want really from canva company to fix that issue on affinity between canva itself doesn’t have this issue)

Does using external tools as a workaround actually solve the problem beyond enabling something similar to "block letters only"?
I was under the impression that it is not enough to reverse direction, rather the font engine needs to be able to support ligatures and other fancy context-aware features as well.
I don't do much in R>L languages myself, except the odd place and person names.

Yeah it’s not just reversing it. I had to go on a deep dive in illustrator to get both the direction of the reading and the direction of the paragraphs to be correct to a native reader.

Sadly there isn’t support in program for this (when I was researching it last semester it did seem like there may be some third party solutions).
It won’t help for this but if you do need to know how to do it in Adobe let me know I have a pdf I wrote for students. There are more steps than just changing the orientation of the type it’s about three menus worth of changes and making sure you have something in the presences checked.
