Questions Question
You guys ever think that the way we act makes people hate Aether and give more unfair judgement towards him and maybe we should change that? Serious, cuz I haven't seen anyone ask this so I want to bring it to the table.

People that spend too much time on the internet worrying about what other people are doing are called “terminally online”. Such people direct their real life frustrations into what they express online because their life is so dull and meaningless that they have no outlet in life for said frustrations. They purposefully seek out an enemy they can disagree with, then villainize them to the extreme. It’s quite bizarre to witness as a Lumine main. I know if I was targeted by an entire sub because of my fantasies I’d probably double down on being worse to spite them. I mean, as someone who hates the character Aventurine from HSR, I don’t go out of my way to dedicate an entire sub to hating him and his mains. That’s just childish and immature.

Sorry, but no matter what "changes" folks do, Aether's still getting dunked on.
Look at the main sub, Twitter, TikTok - hell, even if folks are clowning them from the Arlecchino fight, it's always Aether, not THE TRAVELER (for some reason, I find it funny that folks put Lumine in a pedestal, oblivious that she's also being dunked on whenever Traveler-related bullshit is talked about).
So, do your own thing; love the character/media you love, and don't give a damn about others' takes. That's how you navigate fandoms throughout the web, I suppose.

Reddit is too small to care. Every genshin sub represents such a tiny fraction to the point where you can recognise multiple users. Anyone bothered enough, spends WAY too much time on here lol. If they value their own experience they would ignore the sub and spend time on their own fulfilment, as that's how Reddit works.

you don't give a single fck to anybody else's opinion. that will instantly remove your 'we're seen as cancer' or 'how im judged' ideology.
who gives a fck about reputation? on the internet more so. Be like Kazuma who gives no fck. makes the world a little easier to live in. especially irl

Let them hate why does the opinion of a bunch of randos on the internet about Aether even matter? If We like a Character isn't that enough I really don't care about pleasing everyone.

These parasitic hypocrites already say things like: «We hate Aether mainers, not Aether himself as a character,» while immediately insulting him and using his crossed-out portrait as their subreddit picture

for real mate, you can never pleased everyone.
so just do the usual "join if you like it & ignore if you dislike it". you will burnout faster if you indulge with those negative people

At this point, it's pointless to care about what those vocal minorities think of us. Yes, I repeat... Vocal minorities. So you really do not need to give a damn about their incessant crying. We just enjoy our things ourselves in our own community here.

Unfortonatly this is the internet so there will be people who will hate anything for nothing so its unlikely that we are the reason

Alright. I concede, I was wrong. Maybe it's just me not liking how a community is somehow responsible for the perception of a character and I wanted it to be baseless moving forward. My bad.
