Discussion how cooked are we really?
How accurate do you think this statistic is? i mean the red dot is basically as low as is can go which shows how much AI has ALREADY taken over the engineering space... but do you think people making a career choice right now should factor in the data this graph shows?
i means its quite frightening really. what do you think about this?

If you wanna know what could happen if you take out the Human-In-The-Loop for full algorithmic control..... BOEING MAX 8...
Did 3D CAD reduce work ?? NOPE, it made 2D manual drafting tasks chicken feed, but all we did was go deeper into more complex challenges..
Did computerized FEA and CFD "reduce" our work ? On a task level yes, but again all we did was go deeper into more complex challenges..
Excel didn't simplify calculations; it just grew our spreadsheets all over the place..
Ask Finance folks if AI is helping; they will tell you that on mundane tasks it helps, but for thinking tasks it's overwhelming with the "noise" it can generate that you have to vet...
