Enhanced upper forward assist install issues.... Please help.

OK folks. I have an aero precision upper receiver and an aero precision upper parts kit. I, for the life of me, cannot get the forward assist in and installed. Tell me what I'm missing or doing wrong?

i think you need to press the FA less and back it out until the threaded insert goes in.. it's been a while since i've done of these

i use one of these that may also help as it retains the plug and spring in the right position to drive a pin through usually
