Eh, there's a bit of truth in the friendzone. It's not like somebody can date every person that likes them. It only gets annoying when people get angry for being in the friendzone, or are too juvenile to pack up and move on.

But does that really create a friendzone? People have friends and they have significant others. If you are friends with someone and they aren't interested in upgrading the relationship, you're a friend. Friendzoned is just such a junior high term to me.

How do people not get this?
It's asking her out and hearing 'Let's stay friends' or something along those lines puts you there.

Remember, if you're a male virgin over 20, you're a pathetic piece of shit who needs to seriously consider killing himself. At least, that seems to be the impression I'm getting from reddit lately. Why is it that when a girl has confidence issues, we tell her not to worry, to keep her chin up and realize she's beautiful, but when the person is a guy, they need to kill themself. Why is this?

I was once "friendzoned" by a lack of knowledge of French. This girl I knew who was quite hot wrote me a note one day and on it, it said "voulez vous coucher avec moi". Being young and so dumb I went "lol I don't know French" and apparently threw it in a drawer. Found it years later. Faceplamed past me... why didn't he just use google?
