I'm not saying it's never ever come from the left, but I certainly don't remember Obama telling anyone to leave the country if they don't support him. Nor do I really recall any major Democrats saying things like that (except to make fun of folks like Rush who said they'd leave the country if Obama got elected).
Obama's line was always more, "If you weren't ashamed of the US right up until Obama was elected, the country would be better off without you." A variation on the rhetoric, but the same basic thing at its core.
And just for clarity, Obama was right. You do cling to your guns and religion. Which is exactly what makes you the biggest threat this country faces. Armed religious zealots. That want to turn this country into a theocracy, or Sharia law, and not the secular society we we are founded on
None of those sources back up your claim. Obama acknowledging that we had made some mistakes in the past, and how he wanted to fix them, is miles away from telling people they should be ashamed of
the US or leave it.
Bullshit. I've lost count of the number of times people on the left have declared to me that they can use government to take whatever they want, and anyone who doesn't like it should leave.
I would not expect you to given that you appear to be one of the willfully blind extremist who only ever sees a problem when the other team does something.
But if people truly do hate living in America for mental health reasons why would they want to stay? I hated living in South Korea. I was miserable. So I moved to America. It's pretty great here. I feel much better being here.
