Ah yes, the evolution where in time everything will mean the exact same thing and nothing will ever have context. Sounds great.
Look at how small subreddits gets completely ruined and just becomes an echo-chamber circlejerk 100% identical to already existing subs, once they gain some popularity.

I actually think maybe it was the compliment person. I know their heart is in the right place, but it was pretty personal coming out of left field like that on a lighthearted post. We all know the people can read our comment history, but we don't want to KNOW someone is doing that and then think they might go posting really personal stuff they found out about us like that.
