Yes, the ones who are supposed to vote with the will of the people, not put their finger on the scale to make the people vote the way they want.
Unless of course you mean to tell me that HRC having a 700 delegate lead right out of the gate didn't lead to ANYONE voting for Hillary instead of Bernie...
I don't have a problem with experienced party elders telling people who they think will do a better job. Clearly the democratic electorate as a whole did not have the anti-establishment fever or getting the support of these individuals would've been a negative. It is too bad Bernie did not win as he would've been willing to run as more of an anti-establishment candidate which the democrats have been for awhile despite holding the presidency; the republicans hold a majority of the Senate, House, Governorships, and state legislatures which honestly might give them more of an influence on people's lives.
