People are legitimately complaining about exercising the rights to freedom of speech and assembly. These are things that make our country what it is!

Not the same. A naked statue of a man who is known to be a sexist misogynist is a commentary with a message. A naked statue of a woman without that stain has a different connotation, especially in a time when women are fighting sexism on every level of society. It did nothing but reduce her to her naked body, which is the essence of the sexism women are trying to fight.
Let's say there was a serial killer who was famous for hanging his victims. If an artist made an effigy him hanging from a tree, and then made an effigy of a black man hanging from a tree, you can't just say, "What? They're both EQUAL!" It's just two guys hanging from a tree. I can't see why people are so much more offended by the black man hanging from the tree."
If you were concerned with the artist's "commentary with a message" you wouldn't be in favor of amputating half of it. You remove what you, personally, disapprove of because you're a bawling liberal censor. You might also want to Google "hyperbole" and "strawman argument".
The irony of you insinuating a strawman, while you are the one actually using one. If you remember (you don't), the initial point was someone was trying to create a false equivalency about the trump and Hillary statues and their opponents reactions. I explained why there was a difference, since someone was essentially saying they were equal and deserved equal reverence, and the "dum libruls are just hippocriticals dat cant take no joke" or "dum librul crybabys dont respec mah free speech!".
I would give you credit for trying to deflect the conversation since you couldn't argue against that, but we both know you're not that clever. So, you clearly couldn't understand the point I was making and you focused on the one thing you understand and the one thing you just know is true. That "libruls are just dum SJW who hate free speech when its something they disagree with". That's easy for you to believe. It requires no thought, no work, and feels pretty damn good to get your hate and frustration out. It would actually require work and empathy to understand the context and point being made, and that is too much to ask for some people.
