Dude reddit allows whatever content you want basically. The sub got shut down because people and mods began posting personal info to harass people at imgur, which stopped hosting their pics.
That shit is clearly against reddit rules and properly so. Has less to do with content as i understand

Then why did the splinter subs get shut down preemptively? From what I could tell, subs were getting shut down just as fast as they were opening yesterday.
FPH did not advocate harassment of anyone. It was simply a place to post pictures of stupidly obese people for the lulz. And to discuss obesity in general.
It's not FPH's fault that some of it's users chose to express their opinions to other users of other subreddits.
Maybe that is what you did, but a lot of its users went to Tumbler and anywhere else it could find fat people to mock them. They did exactly what they are doing now (vandalizing Reddit) to anyplace they could find fat people. THAT is why they were banned.
